Quality Assurance Specialist - Remote

Job Description: As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that the developed solution meets business requirements and maintains high standards of quality. Your role will involve writing automated test strategies, plans, and scripts, scheduling tests for execution, and monitoring, measuring, controlling, and reporting on testing progress. You will also be tasked... with adapting the test plan as necessary to adjust to evolving conditions. You will be a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist with responsibilities that include leading automated testing solutions, designing and maintaining test scripts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and participate in establishing automated testing solutions. • Design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts. • Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices, system test plans, scenarios, regression test plans, and scripts based on software requirements and technical specifications. • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities; refine regression test plans. • Document and report test results. • Assist with analyzing the results of automated test scripts and bug fixes/issues. • Lead small groups of IT and business staff for troubleshooting, problem resolution, and brainstorming solutions. • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements before user acceptance testing. • Participate in defining system implementation and user-acceptance test plans. • Work closely with QA Manager and Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery. Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: • 4-year college degree in computer information systems or equivalent technical study. • 6+ years of QA testing experience with industry-standard quality assurance methodologies, verification, and validation processes. • 3+ years of business process analysis experience. • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a focus on automated testing. • Experience mentoring QA Analysts and communicating complex concepts to non-technical users. • Demonstrated fluency in business processes and ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements. • Experience with process mapping, creating detailed reports, and giving presentations. • Hands-on experience with test automation development in industry test automation frameworks (Selenium preferred). • Hands-on experience in test automation design and development involving GUI, API, and back-end database verification. • Experience with Continuous Integration testing tools and automated mobile testing using cloud-based solutions. • Competency in Microsoft applications including Visio, Word, Excel, and other relevant software. • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills. • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
