As a Part-Time Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages to customers efficiently and effectively. You will be the face of FedEx to our customers and will need to demonstrate professionalism while ensuring their needs are met. Responsibilities:
– Deliver packages to customers within a specified area.
– Follow set, scheduled routes for daily deliveries.
– Read and understand maps and GPS directions.
– Safely operate the delivery vehicle.
– Provide excellent customer service.
– Maintain records of deliveries and customer authorizations.
– Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle.
Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
– Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
– Ability to lift and move packages (up to 50 lbs).
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Good time management skills.
– Comprehensive knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods.
Educational Qualifications:
– High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
– Previous experience in delivery driving is a plus, but not essential as training will be given.
