Job Summary:

Planet Fitness, one of the leading fitness centers in the US, is looking for a part-time Fitness Trainer for our Evansville location. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who has a passion for helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. This is a part-time position with working hours less than 4 hours per day. The comprehensive benefits package includes Health, Dental, Paid Training, and Paid Vacations.

Job Description:

The Fitness Trainer will be responsible for running the Planet Fitness group fitness program. This includes assisting all members in achieving their fitness goals by designing and implementing workout routines, providing instruction on proper equipment use, and constantly motivating members to reach their highest potential.

Responsibilities:

1. Conducting fitness consultations and assessments.

2. Designing and implementing personalised exercise programs.

3. Monitoring and instructing clients during personal training sessions on the safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training equipment.

4. Providing motivation and encouragement to members to help them achieve their fitness goals.

5. Maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the fitness area.

Requirements:

1. A passion for fitness and health.

2. Upbeat and positive attitude.

3. Ability to motivate and inspire others.

4. A current CPR/AED certification.

5. Nationally Certified Training Certificate preferred.

Educational Qualifications:

A degree in a related field is preferred but not necessary. However, the candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Experience in fitness training is a plus but not necessary as the company offers paid training.
