Job Summary:

Job Description:
As a CDL Class A Regional Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy commercial truck, managing deliveries or pickups throughout the region, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strict adherence to safety procedures, time schedules, and maintaining accurate logs and records of all transits made.
Requirements:
– Must possess a valid CDL Class A license.
– Must have a safe driving record.
– Must be able to operate a variety of trucks and transportation equipment.
– Exceptional customer service skills.
– Must demonstrate a strong understanding of local, state, and federal transportation laws.
– Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs).
– Ability to work under diverse weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
– Operate a tractor-trailer that transports cargo to and from specified destinations.
– Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods.
– Ensure all cargo is secured properly in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
– Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible.
– Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management.
Educational Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Must have attended a driving school and received driver training.
Experience:
– Minimum of 2 years of professional truck driving experience is preferred.
