Job Description:

The Retail Clerk will be the face of Walmart in Sikeston, interfacing directly with our customers and helping them have a pleasant shopping experience. You will handle various customer-focused tasks like processing transactions, assisting with merchandise selection, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Welcome customers and help identify their needs

2. Operate cash registers and manage financial transactions

3. Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, and availability

4. Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas

5. Stock shelves and display merchandise attractively

6. Work collaboratively with team members to meet store objectives

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. Previous retail experience is a plus but not mandatory

3. Excellent customer service and communication skills

4. Ability to operate cash register and handle financial transactions

5. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
