Job Summary:

Starbucks in Bellingham is looking for a passionate and dynamic part-time Barista to join our team. This is a part-time position offering less than 4 hours per shift with competitive hourly pay. Besides the financial aspect, we also provide health and dental insurances, paid training, and vacations.

Job Description:

As a Barista, you’ll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages. Your role will be crucial in creating an inviting and unique experience for each of our customers.

Responsibilities:

– Provide excellent customer service, making each customer feel welcome and appreciated.

– Knowledgeable about all beverage offerings and able to answer any questions that may arise.

– Prepare high-quality beverages following our standard recipes.

– Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

– Restock supplies as needed and inform management of any shortages.

– Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

– Must be at least 18 years old.

– Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

– Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not necessary.

– Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Educational Qualifications:

– High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

– No specific experience is required as we offer excellent on-the-job training. However, any previous experience in a coffee shop or in customer service will be considered an asset.
