Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused Part-Time Barista to join our evening team at Starbucks. The successful candidate will have a passion for coffee, exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Description:

As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, making quality beverages and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. You will be an important part of our store team, and you will contribute significantly to the Starbucks experience by providing our customers with prompt service, quality beverages, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.

Responsibilities:

– Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and cookies.

– Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment.

– Describe menu items to customers and suggest products that might appeal to them.

– Order, receive, and stock supplies.

– Serve customers quickly and efficiently.

– Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu items and explain them to customers.

– Ensure all customer complaints are addressed and resolved.

Requirements:

– High school diploma or equivalent.

– Previous barista experience is preferred but not required.

– Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.

– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

– Ability to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.

– Ability to work as part of a team.

– Ability to work evenings and weekends.
