Job Summary

We are excited to announce a part-time opportunity for the position of a Barista at Starbucks, Victorville. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, typically under 4 hours per shift. Perks of this position include health and dental benefits, paid training, as well as paid vacation.

Job Description

As a Starbucks Barista, you will contribute to our continued success by providing legendary customer service to all patrons. You will create the Starbucks Experience for our customers by providing world-class customer service. Beyond just making the best beverages, you will be an integral part of creating warm and meaningful connections with customers.

Responsibilities

– Prepare and serve beverages, ranging from simple to complex espresso drinks.

– Maintain a clean and tidy work area, including cleaning equipment and dishes, refilling supplies, and taking out trash.

– Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain temperature logs.

– Interact with customers, taking orders, answering questions, and handling complaints.

– Train on all new products and promotions to provide the best possible service to customers.

– Follow Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security.

Requirements

– High school diploma or equivalent.

– Previous barista experience is a plus, but not necessary.

– Ability to communicate and interact effectively with customers.

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to maintain a calm exterior during peak hours.

– Ability to learn quickly and carry out multiple tasks at once.

– Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.

– Ability to work as part of a team.
