Protecting our tomorrow Bavarian Nordic is expanding through the commercial growth of our vaccine portfolio. We have recently completed an acquisition and will hence be integrating both additional, further activities and will be aligning tools and processes. You will be part of a Team consisting of 5-6 employees. As the team is being reset following the acquisition, the right applicant brings broad Finance skills and is open to a broad set of tasks within Finance/Accounting. Your Responsibilities Undertake a broad range of accounting and Finance related tasks within the US entity to ensure qualitative and effective registration of financial data based on audit and governmental requirements and within deadlines US accounting including P&L analysis, account reconciliations, and the month-end closing. Ensure the monthly closing process is completed according to the closing schedule The role will span the majority of accounting roles and will hence also, be doing or be dependent on fixed... assets and revenue Suggest process optimization within accounting (e.g. use of payment proposal, eliminate manual processes). BN has been expanding its footprint in North America and new activities will hence be integrated over the coming 12 months and migrated to our ERP D365 system Participate in supporting D365 Procurement to Pay system As needed assist or support externals like Deloitte US in the preparation of tax statements, provide input to audits, or assist in submitting reporting to US authorities Ensure good collaboration with Finance Business Partners HR - and other relevant stakeholders Skills & Requirements: Finance Education at BA level or higher Experience and skills in Accounting and Payroll Participate in system and process optimizations as needed. Optimization of selected processes within Finance Accounts Payable process incl. payment of vendors. Support/training of users Monthly accruals (prepayments, auditing, liabilities, other) Manage Concur Travel pool and corporate credit card administration, including expense training for new hires Month-end closing process including reconciliation of expense GL Accounts Fixed assets Preparations for year-end close and audit, incl. tax statement Ad hoc requests We offer A chance to work in an international company with unique technology and a dedicated workforce.
