About The Program We are launching a commercial P&C program designed to underwrite small and middle-market businesses. This program covers various sectors, including construction, service, and retail. You'll work with a range of products, including General Liability, Automobile, Property, Umbrella, and more, on both admitted and E&S bases. The Role You will work closely with our Commercial Underwriting Leader to manage all coverages and classes, both admitted and non-admitted. Based in Westlake, TX, with flexible remote options, you will be responsible for underwriting new business, renewals, and technical transactions. Your performance will be evaluated based on profitability, growth, and effective agency management. You'll have the support of underwriting assistants and a dedicated national sales team. Qualifications 5 to 20+ years of multi-line commercial underwriting experience. In-depth knowledge of technical underwriting, form language, and competitive landscape. A consultative approach to working with agents to build strong relationships. A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Proactive and hands-on problem-solving skills.
