EVM Solidity Smart Contract / Protocol Engineer (AI Crypto startup 300K+ users)

This startup is building a decentralized AI platform (launching token early 2025) for creating uncensored and immersive multimodal AI companions. The Protocol will also serve as distributed AI infra for companies to train their models (similar to Render). They are well capitalized by T1 VCs (seed round) and are growing exponentially (30% MoM). They currently have 300k+ users with average paid... session times of 3 hours and are led by experienced founders (Stanford CS - with experience at Meta, Apple, and other dApps on notable crypto L1s). While the initial Go-to-market is ultra realistic AI companions and Infra, they aim to evolve towards a vision reminiscent of the film 'Her,' starring Joaquin Phoenix. As advancements in AI move us towards AGI, there emerges a potential market exceeding $150 billion. Major tech firms such as OpenAI, Google, and Meta are unlikely to explore this uncensored domain fully, constrained by their adherence to corporate governance and public standards. They are looking for a Founding Smart Contract engineer to architect and launch their protocol on EVM and other potential derivatives. Responsibilities • Lead the secure development and implementation of a liquidity layer EVM-based protocol that would include native revenue sharing and IP ownership. • Architect and develop smart contracts with an emphasis on security, scalability, and efficiency. • Proactively identify and mitigate security risks, implementing best practices in smart contract development and blockchain security. • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to conduct thorough security audits and reviews. • Optimize performance and implement best practices to ensure future scalability. • Manage projects and ensure that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards Requirements • Prior experience shipping and architecting EVM based protocols. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • 3+ years smart contracts experience including expertise in the Ethereum protocol, including in-depth knowledge of consensus and execution clients. • Familiarity with Ethereum development tools (Geth, Foundry) and security analysis tools. • Advanced proficiency in Solidity and secure smart contract development. 160K to 250K base + strong token / equity package We offer 100% remote work, competitive salary + equity/token packages, and top of the line benefits Apply Job!
