Key Responsibilities
Provide virtual instruction tailored to students with special needs, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. Develop and implement effective strategies and accommodations based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Communicate clearly and effectively with students, parents, and team members, fostering strong relationships and collaboration. Utilize virtual teaching platforms, educational software, and assistive technologies to enhance learning outcomes. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities. Promote inclusivity, empathy, and respect within the virtual classroom. Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude in all interactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience delivering virtual instruction to students with special needs. Strong understanding of IEPs and the ability to create and implement effective strategies and accommodations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and educational technology. A passion for fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
