Manager, Financial Systems Administration - Remote | WFH

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager for Financial Systems Administration. In this role, you'll be responsible for the implementation, governance, and maintenance of our Oracle Cloud financial systems (ERP/EPM). Reporting to the Director of Finance Systems & Operations, you'll lead and develop a dynamic financial systems team, providing essential training to our Finance staff, and... serving as a vital link between Finance and the IT department. This role requires a proactive and independent professional who can balance competing priorities, exercise sound judgment, and foster collaboration across teams. You'll have the opportunity to influence others toward common goals and represent the Finance department with tact and diplomacy.

Key Responsibilities

Process Improvement: Evaluate both manual and automated financial accounting processes, systems, and procedures to ensure workflow efficiency and compliance with accounting standards. System Analysis: Gather and document detailed information on processes, organizational structures, and policies, and propose improvements. Collaboration: Work closely with IT and third-party partners on system updates, including quarterly finance system updates. Innovation: Continuously explore new technology and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Data Governance: Oversee procedures for maintaining and executing model data governance. Training & Development: Develop reports, train team members on reporting tools, and produce training reference materials. Internal Controls: Evaluate the internal controls and security of accounting applications to ensure adherence to auditing requirements. System Integration: Monitor the procurement, development, and implementation of new systems to ensure seamless integration with our financial system, in coordination with IT. Troubleshooting: Address and resolve issues with solutions, coordinating escalation to managed services as needed. Project Management: Supervise and contribute to various departmental and enterprise-wide projects as required. EPBCS Support: Support data load processes, ongoing maintenance of EPBCS cubes, and ongoing planning processes in collaboration with the administration team. Training Delivery: Assist Financial Planning & Analysis with the development and delivery of training materials for end-users on quarterly forecasts and annual budgets. Team Leadership: Select, manage, develop, coach, and motivate team members, providing regular one-on-one coaching and conducting team meetings. Process Review: Review established procedures and recommend changes to meet current and future needs. Team Environment: Create a positive environment that fosters teamwork, values diversity, and supports and respects all team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or computer programmer analyst, including participation in the design of financial accounting systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven ability to motivate and manage staff to continuously improve internal processes. A commitment to learning new techniques and technologies to support the organization. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Competence in report development is essential. Advanced Excel skills are beneficial. Oracle ERP/EPM certifications are a plus. Work Environment/Physical Demands This position offers the flexibility to work remotely within the United States. You'll need a private, quiet workspace and will routinely use office equipment such as computers, phones, and web conferencing technology. Work Hours: Schedules are set to meet the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as necessary. Travel: Occasional travel to off-site locations for meetings may be required. Mobility: While this is primarily a sedentary role, some mobility is required. Working Hours: May include early, late, or occasional weekend hours to meet business needs. Compensation

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package including 401k with match. Employment Type: Full-Time Apply Job!
