AI/Machine Learning Engineer

SkyHop Technologies is actively seeking a seasoned AI/Machine Learning Engineer who possesses a passion for pushing AI technologies to the limits. The ideal candidate will work with our team to design and build the next generation of our AI applications. An integral part of this role is writing robust integrations with AI tools within AWS and GCP environments. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, train, and implement machine learning models and large language models tailored to our specific use cases, ensuring they are robust and scalable. • Leverage AI to enhance product capabilities, improve user experiences, and automate tasks. • Design and build scalable machine learning solutions on AWS and GCP, integrating them seamlessly with our existing products and services. • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python or Golang that is consistent with best practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features that utilize AI and machine learning. • Engage in code and technical design reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. - Continuously explore, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and product performance. - Stay abreast of developments in AI/ML advancements and be a thought leader in the space. • Bonus points for candidates with experience in gRPC and its implementation in service architectures. Qualifications: • Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field. • Proven experience (3+ years) in training machine learning models and deep understanding of large language models. • Proficiency in Python or Golang, with a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for AI-based solutions. • Experience with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn). • Experience working with AI tools in cloud environments, specifically AWS and GCP. • Strong understanding of machine learning techniques, neural networks, and classification algorithms. - Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms. - Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Bonus points for knowledge or professional experience with gRPC.
