Click Here for a Virtual Hospital Tour Position Summary The Remote Referral Management Center Liaison is responsible for the timely processing of inquiry and referral calls. Serves as liaison to referral sources, physicians, unit staff and hospital personnel involved with each transfer request. Enters call data into the facility's database and manages all e-fax application(s) to process incoming referrals and transfer requests in a timely manner. Effectively communicate with unit staff, physicians, and Admissions Triage Staff. Job Duties/Responsibilities Ensures accurate information is provided to referral sources as requested. Receives all referral/inquiry calls and responds to requests for transfer and assessment in a timely manner. Collaborates with referral sources, families, physicians, agencies, and other callers to ensure that requests for transfer and admission are managed effectively. Collaborates with Business Office staff to ensure that payor information is obtained and verified. Minimum of one (1) year experience working in psychiatric health care preferred. Current licensure as a RN or LPN in the State of Florida required. Excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain effective working relationships, inter-departmentally, intra-departmentally.
