Learn more about us here! About your new role: The Network Engineer is responsible for supporting new and existing ISP/MSP business customers. You will work on supporting business data circuits, SDWAN Networks, VoIP services, VPNs, Managed Routers, Firewalls, and you will learn, design and deliver various custom-managed services. This is a Full-Time 100% Remote opportunity. Hours are 3rd Shift, 11:00pm-8:00am PT, Tuesday-Saturday No travel to customer locations is required. Key Responsibilities: • Working with customers to resolve any service problems: SDWAN, Internet, • Understanding of basic LAN configurations (Routers / Firewalls) and Microsoft operation systems • Handling new customer-managed service provisioning support functions Interfacing with vendors to resolve support issues • Owning support issues from start to finish Keeping customers happy with superior support and a level head • -going the extra mile • Train and assist other engineers with complex issues What you'll need for success: • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent • 3-5 years of related experience working in a fast-paced environment • CCNA and CCNP certification is desirable • Command line experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper • Firewall configuration experience (e.g. Fortinet) • Understanding and experience with BGP, OSPF, and VRRP • Experience with basic routers/firewalls and NAT (Network Address Translation) • Experience with COS/QOS • Experience with designing networks • SOC2 knowledge and understanding • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail • Ability to multi-task assignments and follow process flow are required • Must have excellent communication and analytical skills to understand and resolve customer issues effectively. This would include being comfortable talking with Clients. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
