We're on the lookout for a Corporate Technical Trainer with expertise in Thermo King and/or Carrier systems, EPA 608 certification, and a strong background in truck and/or trailer operations. As our Technical Trainer, you'll play a vital role in instructing both internal and external technicians on unit operations, PMs, diagnostics, and general repairs for Thermo King transport refrigeration equipment and APU’s. With a blend of 60% travel and 40% office work, this role involves crafting training classes using OEM materials, conducting safety training, and overseeing on-site equipment audits to ensure adherence to standards. Your responsibilities also include flagging and reporting common repair issues, managing cost-effective training delivery, and collaborating on repair procedures. We're seeking an individual with a professional appearance, excellent verbal communication skills, and a "Can do attitude." Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. • Use materials from OEM’s and build training classes on equipment • Train Internal Associates and external customers on equipment - PM’s, repairs, wiring, computer diagnostics, operation and best practices. • Safety training for internal and external customers • Provide technical support when required. • Travel to train is essential to this job. • Flag and report common repair/breakdown issues to management. • Manage the efficient and cost-effectiveness delivery of training. • On-site audit of equipment to ensure PM’s and repairs are done to set standards • Assist with repair procedures and guidelines • Maintains confidentiality of all company information • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Job Specifications • Demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. • Considerate and respectful attitude toward both internal and external customers. • Excellent verbal communication skills in one-on-one and phone situations. • Highly motivated to do what it takes to get the job done, “Can do attitude” • Ability to prioritize and coordinate several projects at once • Ability to travel for Internal and external training classes and meetings • Willingness and ability to work with others and be a team player. • Ability to follow safety standards.
