Pay rate is 8 cents per line.........8 Cents per Line.......8 Cents per line......... Remote Medical Transcriptionist and QA. Immediate openings for experienced independent home contractor MTs to transcribe for Veteran?s Administration Hospital clients. Well experienced, with work in hospital operation reports is a must, veterans welcome. The work is straight transcription and compensation, $0.08 for a 65-character line. Initial training period of 30 days paid 15th of the month. All pay is through direct deposit. Position requirements: MTs can work their own hours but must be able to transcribe consistently for 20 hrs./week. Weekends or nights maybe required. (alternating) Minimum 8 years with hospital transcription experience is required. Equipment/Internet Requirements: Fast Internet and Windows 10 Operating System with USB foot pedal (Infinity IN-USB-1) are required. Platform is, TA. Testing Requirements: Openings are immediate, after security clearance is completed which... includes VA fingerprint visit at local Veterans hospital in your area. Additionally, there are 2 an annual on-line multiple-choice training programs approx. 30 to 45 min. to be completed as well. Dictation Subjects: Materials to be transcribed include a high incidence of technical terminology requiring a strong command of English grammar, a good vocabulary, and a working knowledge of specialized medical terminology peculiar to a wide variety of subjects in the fields of medicine, psychiatry, surgery, and others. Some of the medical subjects to be transcribed include Discharge Summaries, Operative Reports, History and Physical Reports, Procedure Reports, Consultation Reports, Radiology Report, Nuclear Medicine Reports, Special Procedure Reports, Compensation and Pension Exam Reports (specific History and Physical), miscellaneous medical Progress Notes, Anatomic Pathology and Cytology notes.
