Remote role Full-time Open position

Why arenaflex?

At arenaflex, we’re more than just a pizza brand – we’re a community‑focused, fast‑growing hospitality leader that serves hot, delicious meals to neighborhoods across the country. Our mission is to bring people together over great food, and we achieve that by empowering every team member to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Whether you’re looking for a flexible part‑time gig, a stepping stone to a management career, or a long‑term role where you can grow into ownership, arenaflex offers a vibrant, supportive environment where your personality and people skills can shine.

Position Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, handling phone orders, in‑store inquiries, and online requests with enthusiasm and efficiency. You’ll work side‑by‑side with a dynamic team that values speed, accuracy, and a friendly attitude. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced setting, love interacting with customers, and want a schedule that fits around school, hobbies, or other commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls, take accurate pizza and side‑item orders, and process payments using the point‑of‑sale system.
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to guests in‑store, guiding them through menu options, promotions, and special dietary requests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized front‑of‑house workspace, including the counter, phone station, and surrounding areas.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy, timely preparation, and smooth hand‑off to delivery drivers or dine‑in guests.
  • Handle cash, credit, and digital transactions securely, adhering to arenaflex’s financial policies.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly, turning potential complaints into positive experiences through active listening and problem‑solving.
  • Assist with light inventory tasks such as restocking napkins, condiments, and promotional materials during slower periods.
  • Participate in regular training sessions, safety briefings, and team meetings to stay current on product knowledge and operational standards.
  • Contribute ideas for improving service flow, menu presentation, and overall guest satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a warm, approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask in a high‑energy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Basic math proficiency for handling cash and calculating order totals.
  • Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and telephone equipment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting (up to 50 lb) and reaching tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer‑facing role, such as retail, hospitality, or call‑center environments.
  • Familiarity with food‑service safety standards and basic kitchen operations.
  • Demonstrated track record of reliability, punctuality, and teamwork.
  • Passion for the food industry and an eagerness to learn about arenaflex’s menu and preparation methods.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Communication: Clear, courteous, and persuasive speaking style.
  • Problem‑Solving: Ability to think quickly, de‑escalate tense situations, and find win‑win solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Works well with kitchen staff, delivery drivers, and management to achieve shared goals.
  • Time Management: Prioritizes tasks during peak periods to keep lines moving and guests satisfied.
  • Adaptability: Adjusts to changing schedules, menu updates, and new technology without missing a beat.
  • Physical Stamina: Handles standing, walking, and occasional lifting or carrying of supplies throughout the shift.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

While the role is primarily front‑of‑house, you will encounter a variety of physical tasks and environmental factors that are typical in a fast‑food setting:

  • Standing & Walking: Most duties require standing for the duration of the shift and walking short distances on tile or linoleum floors.
  • Lifting & Carrying: You may need to lift boxes of ingredients (up to 50 lb) and transport trays of dough or sauce across the store.
  • Temperature Variations: In‑store temperatures can range from cool (≈ 36 °F) to hot (≈ 90 °F+), and you’ll occasionally handle oven‑hot surfaces (up to 500 °F).
  • Odors & Dust: Expect exposure to food aromas, cornmeal dust, and occasional steam or grease fumes.
  • Safety Awareness: You’ll work around sharp tools, moving mechanical parts, and hot equipment, requiring constant attention to safety protocols.

Career Path & Advancement Opportunities

arenaflex is committed to promoting from within. Many of our current managers and franchise owners began their careers as front‑of‑house team members. As you excel in this role, you could progress to:

  • Shift Supervisor – overseeing a team during peak hours.
  • Assistant Store Manager – handling scheduling, inventory, and staff development.
  • Store Manager – full responsibility for store performance, profitability, and community engagement.
  • Corporate Operations – roles in training, regional support, or brand development.
  • Franchise Ownership – the ultimate entrepreneurial opportunity for those who demonstrate leadership and business acumen.

Diversity & Inclusion

arenaflex believes that a diverse workforce fuels creativity and innovation. We actively seek team members from all backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. Our inclusive culture ensures every voice is heard, respected, and valued, allowing each employee to reach their highest potential.

  • Flexible scheduling that works around school, family, or other commitments.
  • Employee discount on all arenaflex menu items.
  • Opportunities for tuition assistance or scholarship programs.
  • Paid time off and holiday pay for full‑time team members.
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage options for qualifying employees.
  • Career development workshops, cross‑training, and leadership bootcamps.
  • Recognition programs that celebrate outstanding service and teamwork.

Work Environment & Culture

At arenaflex, the front‑of‑house area is a lively, collaborative space where teamwork is essential. You’ll join a crew that values humor, mutual respect, and a shared passion for delivering hot, fresh pizza quickly. Our management team leads by example, providing hands‑on coaching, regular feedback, and a supportive atmosphere that encourages you to ask questions and suggest improvements.
