Azure Resource Builder (ARB) is a data processing engine which fuels Azure Resource Graph (ARG) and overall, One Inventory of cloud and other Microsoft resources and is a core service enabling @scale experiences like ARG, Azure Portal, Azure Search, Azure Change. It provides a powerful processing pipeline within the Azure Control Plane providing processing capabilities closer to where the inventory data exists. ARB’s vision is to enable any customer (first party or third party) to build inventory data-based solutions with little effort and enable these values to all of Azure customers. Responsibilities

Planning, designing, developing, and testing software systems used in massively distributed cloud-based software. Developing software, tools, and code to be used in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms as well as commercial or end-user applications. Write exemplary code working with large scale distributed systems with quality, simplicity, and maintainability as core tenets. Communicate effectively and partner well with other disciplines of the project team to deliver high quality solutions from ideas to production code. Contributing to live site maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience. 1+ years of experience developing, deploying, monitoring and shipping scalable cloud services. Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, OR PythonOR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience #azurecorejobs Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100.00 - $202,200.00 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800.00 - $219,200.00 per year.
