[Remote] M365 Customer Success Engineer

Remote role Full-time Open position

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Exain Labs is seeking a M365 Customer Success Engineer to enhance the performance and adoption of Microsoft 365 environments. The role involves working closely with senior architects to conduct assessments, analyses, and deliver recommendations to improve customer usage and configuration of Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Microsoft 365 tenant health checks across core workloads (Office, Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Review M365 Apps performance and identify basic configuration or usage issues
  • Collect and validate network readiness data (latency, connectivity, bandwidth)
  • Document findings, risks, and improvement areas
  • Review usage and adoption reports for Teams, Office Apps, OneDrive, and SharePoint
  • Identify basic usage trends or low-adoption areas and share findings with senior architects
  • Support the team in developing adoption insights and recommended next steps
  • Participate in reviews of customer governance and operational practices
  • Assist in applying Microsoft-recommended practices during customer engagements
  • Follow established customer success processes, playbooks, and engagement standards
  • Help create customer-facing documents such as assessment summaries, usage reports, and action trackers
  • Maintain notes, trackers, and follow-up items from customer meetings and workshops
  • Participate in customer workshops, reviews, and success planning sessions post training and preparation

Skills

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and optimization
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Apps (Office, Teams, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business
