[Remote] Product Manager

Remote role Full-time Open position

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. V Group Inc. is seeking a Product Manager to support the implementation and enhancement of the School Based Services Electronic Health Record (EHR) System and other related projects. The role involves product and technical leadership, stakeholder management, and overseeing EHR implementation and system integration to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a member of Steering Committees and Core Project Teams
  • Act as the assigned Technical Lead for project initiatives
  • Drive technical strategy, product roadmap discussions, and solution recommendations
  • Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, SMEs, and vendors to define project priorities and deliverables
  • Provide technical guidance throughout planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support phases
  • Coordinate with DVHA, Agency of Digital Services (ADS), Agency of Education (AOE), Local Education Agencies (LEAs), EHR vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication between technical and business teams
  • Translate technical concepts, risks, and complexities into business-friendly language
  • Support EHR IT Analysts, EHR Implementation Leads, state staff, and school personnel
  • Oversee implementation activities for the School Based Services Electronic Health Record System
  • Lead data migration efforts and ensure data quality throughout migration processes
  • Manage system integrations and interfaces between EHR platforms and external systems
  • Review technical designs, architecture decisions, and implementation plans
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards, privacy, and security requirements
  • Partner with software vendors to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues
  • Evaluate vendor products, capabilities, and market offerings
  • Monitor vendor performance and adherence to contractual obligations
  • Participate in technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and solution assessments
  • Coordinate creation and review of system documentation, training materials, and support documentation
  • Oversee release planning and deployment activities
  • Ensure successful go-live execution across multiple implementation cohorts
  • Maintain overall quality of technical solutions and deliverables
  • Identify, prioritize, and communicate technical debt and project risks
  • Support issue resolution and remove technical roadblocks impacting project progress
  • Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and healthcare IT best practices
  • Participate in retrospectives and process improvement initiatives
  • Recommend system enhancements that improve efficiency, scalability, and operational effectiveness

Skills

  • 10+ Years of total IT Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Solution Delivery, or IT Leadership roles
  • Experience leading large-scale enterprise software implementations
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR), Healthcare IT, or Health Information Systems
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party software implementations
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in Agile and Hybrid delivery environments
  • Strong background in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • PMP
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  • SAFe Product Manager
  • IIBA Certifications
  • Prosci Change Management Certification
  • The selected candidate must successfully complete and maintain: Annual Cyber Security Training, HIPAA Training, Annual State Compliance Training
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated professionalism and accountability
  • Experience with K-12 Education systems and School-Based Health Services
  • Experience of working with State Government agencies
  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and EHR platforms
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting cloud-based enterprise applications
