[Remote] Operations Support Specialist with Marketing Coordination Responsibilities

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Surgical Affiliates Management Group, Inc. (SAMGI) is a national leader in surgical practice management, partnering with hospitals and health systems to deliver high-quality acute care surgery programs. They are seeking an Operations Support Specialist who will provide executive and administrative support while also managing marketing materials and digital presence. The role requires versatility and creativity in both operational and marketing tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain project tracking tools, update status reports, and follow up with team members to obtain required information and updates
  • Coordinate the ordering, distribution, and inventory management of clinician lab coats, prescription pads, business cards, and related supplies; initiate reorders as needed
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the IT Help & Support Desk by receiving, documenting, and tracking support requests; provide basic troubleshooting and escalate issues to appropriate resources when necessary
  • Perform administrative and operational support activities, including data entry, record maintenance, user account updates, system support tasks, and other assigned duties
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive business, employee, patient, and company information and handle all information with discretion and professionalism
  • Create and update marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, presentations, digital content, and other branded collateral in accordance with established brand standards
  • Maintain and update company websites, microsites, and social media platforms by posting content, making revisions, and ensuring information is current and consistent with company branding
  • Assist with the administration of the company SWAG Store, including product setup, vendor communications, inventory tracking, order processing, and fulfillment activities
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, and social media channels by preparing materials, coordinating timelines, and tracking deliverables
  • Compile and maintain marketing analytics and engagement data; prepare reports and summaries for management review
  • Coordinate with Operations, Business Development, Recruitment, and Clinical Leadership teams to gather information and produce marketing materials that support departmental initiatives
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of conferences, recruitment events, meetings, and program launches, including logistics, materials preparation, and event support

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Communications, Marketing, Healthcare Administration) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2–4 years in operations support, administrative coordination, marketing, or a related role
  • Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), DocuSign, and SharePoint
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills across professional audiences
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently in a remote environment
  • Experience in healthcare, professional services, or a multi-site organization
  • Familiarity with web content management systems (WordPress, Squarespace) and SEO basics
  • Background in social media strategy and analytics tools
