This role involves reviewing model-generated legal outputs and collaborating with researchers to simulate real-world legal workflows.
Responsibilities
- Review and refine model-generated legal outputs for accuracy, clarity, and sound reasoning across targeted practice areas
- Evaluate legal reasoning in domains including M&A, criminal law, personal injury, tax, and environmental law
- Develop and assess prompts, model responses, and grading rubrics to measure legal reasoning quality
- Collaborate with researchers to simulate real-world legal workflows and use cases
Skills
- Strong experience in legal practice, with exposure to multiple domains such as M&A, criminal law, or tax
- J.D. from a top 50 U.S. law school
- Strong experience in legal research, analysis, and structured written communication
- Ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, structured evaluation criteria
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
