[Remote] Internship: Legal/Paralegal
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Novastone Capital Advisors (NCA) is a global Operator-Led Search Fund program focused on helping mid-career professionals with succession challenges in small to medium-sized enterprises. They are seeking a motivated Legal Intern to support their M&A Legal team in the US, providing hands-on exposure to legal operations and assisting with documentation and organization tasks.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain an Excel spreadsheet or similar resource that summarizes key provisions from portfolio company LLC and LP agreements
- Reorganize and standardize Legal Department document folders to improve accessibility and consistency
- Draft simple legal documentation for portfolio companies under supervision
Skills
- Preferred candidates include pre-law students or early law school students
- Candidates should be studying pre-law, law or completing their paralegal studies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Practical experience using Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint is preferred
