Remote role Full-time Open position

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Microsoft is seeking a Recruiter (Contract) to support high-volume and niche hiring for early-in-profession AI/ML and highly technical roles. The role involves full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and managing candidate communications, while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for early-in-profession AI/ML and technical roles—from sourcing through offer and close
  • Source and identify candidates using a variety of channels, focusing on AI/ML, data, and applied science talent
  • Screen and assess candidates to evaluate technical skills, AI/ML exposure, and role alignment
  • Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and stakeholders on hiring needs, candidate profiles, and recruiting plans
  • Manage candidate communication and engagement throughout the hiring process
  • Lead candidate progression through interviews, debriefs, and offer/closing stages
  • Build and maintain pipelines of early-career AI/ML and technical talent
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and activity in recruiting systems in alignment with process and compliance expectations
  • Contribute to high-volume hiring efforts across multiple teams and business groups

Skills

  • 5–7 years of recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition experience
  • Experience owning full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, offer extension, and closing
  • Experience hiring for AI/ML, data science, applied science, or highly technical engineering roles
  • Experience in high-volume recruiting environments
  • Experience supporting early-in-profession/university hiring (intern, entry-level) and industry hiring
  • Strong ability to source and engage specialized technical talent, including passive candidates
  • Strong communication, stakeholder partnership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with recruiting tools or applicant tracking systems
