[Remote] Instructional Designer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Akkodis is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to support a strategic Skills Transformation initiative. This role involves designing and delivering impactful learning experiences to help diverse audiences understand new processes and tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive readiness and capability.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end learning solutions, including instructor-led, virtual training, eLearning modules, job aids, quick reference guides, and facilitator/manager toolkits
- Translate project requirements, process updates, and system changes into clear, audience-specific learning content
- Conduct learning needs analyses to define target audiences, objectives, and appropriate delivery methods
- Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to gather input and validate learning materials
- Develop structured, multi-modal learning paths tailored to different audience groups
- Ensure all content aligns with adult learning principles, change impacts, and business needs
- Create scalable, reusable learning assets for broader organizational use
- Support pilot sessions and refine learning solutions through user feedback and testing
- Collaborate with Change Management teams to align training with overall adoption and readiness strategies
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning development, or corporate training
- Hands-on experience with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise, Storyline, LMS platforms, video tools, PowerPoint)
- Background in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, HR, Education, Communications, or related field
- Experience designing learning for enterprise transformation, HR/process changes, or digital initiatives
- Proven ability to create learning solutions for diverse audiences with varying levels of readiness
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, curriculum design, and evaluation methods
- Ability to simplify complex technical or process-driven content into actionable learning
- Strong stakeholder management and project execution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience supporting skills-based talent or workforce transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with change management practices and adoption planning
- Experience in large, global, or operational environments (e.g., manufacturing, supply chain)
