[Remote] Financial Advisor

MJK Financial is a retirement-focused financial planning and wealth management firm dedicated to helping clients build, protect, and distribute their assets throughout retirement. They are seeking an ambitious, relationship-driven Financial Advisor to provide comprehensive financial planning services and help clients navigate important retirement decisions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial planning and retirement income planning meetings with clients and prospects
- Develop and implement investment recommendations tailored to client goals and risk tolerance
- Build relationships with clients introduced through My Medicare Network and identify opportunities to provide advisory services
- Present wealth management, retirement planning, and income distribution strategies
- Maintain regular communication with clients through reviews and ongoing service
- Prospect for new business through networking, referrals, community involvement, seminars, workshops, and other business development activities
- Collaborate with internal team members to deliver a comprehensive client experience
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation while adhering to regulatory requirements
- Stay current on financial planning, investment, retirement, and industry developments
Skills
- FINRA Series 65 or Series 66 required (Series 7 preferred if applicable)
- Experience in financial planning, wealth management, retirement planning, or investment advisory services
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to develop business through both firm-generated opportunities and personal prospecting efforts
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Life and Health Insurance License preferred
- Proficiency with CRM systems and financial planning software is a plus
- Knowledge of Medicare-related planning considerations is beneficial but not required
- Long-term care planning knowledge and experience are a significant plus
