The role involves leading strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings across multiple spend categories.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives and RFx events
- Analyze spend data to identify cost savings and sourcing opportunities
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with operational and financial goals
- Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and terms & conditions
- Partner with internal stakeholders across departments to support procurement needs
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, performance, and market positioning
- Conduct market research and supplier analysis to support sourcing decisions
- Manage supplier relationships and sourcing project timelines
Skills
- 4–7 years of strategic sourcing/procurement experience
- Strong contract negotiation experience
- Experience leading sourcing projects and RFx events
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with spend analytics and supplier management
- Bachelor's degree required
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting hospital, healthcare system, or clinical procurement
- Background in supply chain or procurement operations
