[Remote] Senior Account Executive

Progress Learning is dedicated to empowering educators with personalized teaching tools and support to help students master state standards. They are seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive revenue growth by securing large-scale SaaS contracts with public K-12 school districts, utilizing strategic sales techniques and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets by closing deals with new customers
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential leads through cold calling, emailing, networking, and other lead generation activities
  • Develop and present solutions that align with prospective customer needs and goals
  • Analyze customer needs, challenges, and opportunities to position Progress Learning solutions effectively
  • Engage with district leaders, decision-makers, and key stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and goals
  • Generate new business opportunities within assigned territories
  • Present and demonstrate Progress Learning solutions through virtual and in-person meetings and product demonstrations
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to drive pipeline growth and revenue
  • Share industry knowledge and sales best practices to support the development of other Account Executives
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support company initiatives and execute overall business strategy
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in Salesforce

Skills

  • Strong follow up skills
  • 5+ years of experience in New Sales customer acquisition
  • Proven success managing and growing complex, large-scale accounts
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
