[Remote] Manager, Cost Accounting and Integration

The role involves analyzing and integrating varied accounting methodologies, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring audit readiness within a high-impact environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and "reverse engineer" varied accounting/costing methodologies from acquired companies; normalize data for corporate integration
- Take immediate ownership of the master inventory listing and maintain data integrity
- Drive year-end audit support for inventory and COGS; provide flawless documentation for all accounting entries
- Monitor physical inventory counts and cycle counting across multiple sites
- Partner with IT to ensure financial data integrity during the migration of legacy systems to the main ERP
Skills
- 5+ years of 'hands-on' cost accounting experience
- Expert in standard vs. actual costing and variance analysis
- Ability to identify gaps and implement solutions within the first 30–60 days
- Advanced Excel and ERP literacy
- Comfortable working within 'messy' data sets from multiple systems
- Ability to thrive on heavy workloads and meet aggressive deadlines
