[Remote] Regional Account Manager, South Central – GEM

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Mirum Pharmaceuticals is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to transforming the treatment of rare diseases. They are seeking a Regional Account Manager who will run their own business within the South Central region, formulating effective regional strategies and improving diagnosis rates while growing sales. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and demonstrate strong business acumen in a dynamic environment.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including 3 years of field-based experience in account management, sales, and/or field reimbursement
• Proven success in product launches, ideally with first-in-class therapies and in competitive markets
• Experience navigating complex rare disease patient journeys, including diagnosis, referral pathways, and access challenges
• Experience working in ambiguous environments requiring cross-specialty coordination for patient identification
• Ability to travel frequently (up to 70% overnight) and maintain a valid driver's license
• MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Experience in specialty, genetics, or rare disease markets strongly preferred
• Experience managing a large multi-state geography preferred
