[Remote] Executive Recruiter

Lingo Professional is the direct hire and executive search division of Lingo Staffing, committed to helping organizations attract and hire exceptional talent. They are seeking a Senior Executive Recruiter / Business Development Manager who will manage the full recruiting lifecycle, focusing on business development, client management, and candidate recruitment across various sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers, executives, HR leaders, and decision-makers
  • Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research
  • Conduct client discovery meetings to understand hiring needs, organizational structure, and company culture
  • Negotiate search agreements, fees, and service expectations
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
  • Serve as a trusted talent acquisition partner to clients throughout the hiring process
  • Source, recruit, interview, and evaluate candidates for professional, technical, leadership, and executive-level opportunities
  • Utilize job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques to identify passive talent
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, reference checks, and qualification reviews
  • Prepare candidates for interviews and guide them throughout the hiring process
  • Manage offer negotiations and facilitate successful placements
  • Build and maintain a network of high-performing professionals within targeted industries
  • Manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining exceptional communication and service levels
  • Track recruiting activity and client interactions within company systems
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the search process
  • Participate in daily team pull-up meetings and ongoing collaboration with leadership and recruiting team members
  • Contribute market intelligence, industry trends, and competitive insights to support company growth initiatives

Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of full-desk recruiting experience required
  • Proven success in both business development and recruiting
  • Experience recruiting within industrial manufacturing, engineering, operations, supply chain, logistics, skilled trades, technical, or related sectors strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new client relationships and generate revenue
  • Strong interviewing, sourcing, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and CRM platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong time-management abilities
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Existing book of business, established client relationships, or industry network
  • Executive search experience
  • Direct hire search firm background
  • Experience recruiting leadership and hard-to-find technical talent
