[Remote] People Operations Coordinator

Remote role Full-time Open position

The HR Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting daily People Operations by managing high-volume administrative processes and ensuring accurate execution of employee lifecycle activities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, draft, and distribute HR documentation, including offer letters, employment verifications, and promotion/compensation letters
  • Manage employee record updates (status changes, compensation adjustments, PT/FT transitions)
  • Support onboarding and offboarding logistics, ensuring timely documentation and readiness
  • Administer and respond to inquiries through the HR inbox, routing requests as needed
  • Process system entries and requests for new hires and employee changes in HR and internal systems (e.g., Samsara, SVB, Homebase, Absorb, Microsoft, Absorb LMS, ADP, Homebase)
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all HR platforms
  • Execute HR transactions across multiple systems following approvals
  • Manage 'behind-the-scenes' administrative workflows to enable HR leadership to focus on strategy and communication
  • Prepare onboarding workflows and ensure system readiness ahead of employee start dates
  • Coordinate cross-functional requests with payroll, finance, and IT and track key milestones, including anniversaries and performance review cycles
  • Trigger workflows and ensure timely completion of recurring HR processes

Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in HR, operations, or administrative support roles
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage high-volume tasks independently
  • Experience working with HR systems (ADP preferred) and multiple platforms simultaneously
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize competing requests
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
