Why This Role Matters

The Customer Success & Sales Lead is the heartbeat of arenaflex’s member experience. You will own the entire communication lifecycle – from the moment a prospective member receives an acceptance email to the day they celebrate their first successful chapter stay. By delivering world‑class support, crafting persuasive onboarding journeys, and continuously refining our processes, you will directly influence member retention, community reputation, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Member Advocacy: Serve as the primary liaison between arenaflex members and internal teams, ensuring member feedback shapes product and service decisions.
  • Support Operations: Manage all inbound and outbound communications (email, chat, and community forums), maintaining a response time of under 24 hours and a satisfaction rating of 95 % or higher.
  • Onboarding & Conversion: Guide newly accepted applicants through a seamless onboarding process, addressing concerns, answering questions, and converting interest into committed memberships.
  • Chapter Placement Consulting: Recommend optimal chapter locations based on members’ personal goals, work styles, and travel preferences, helping them select the right environment for success.
  • Content Creation: Draft member‑facing documentation, newsletters, FAQs, and process guides that are clear, engaging, and on‑brand.
  • Process Engineering: Identify bottlenecks, design scalable workflows, and document standard operating procedures to elevate the support team from reactive to proactive.
  • Sales Enablement: Leverage natural sales instincts to nurture leads, address objections, and close membership deals while maintaining a consultative, non‑pushy approach.
  • Data‑Driven Improvement: Track key metrics (e.g., churn, Net Promoter Score, conversion rate) and present actionable insights to leadership.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Community Operations to align messaging, launch new features, and co‑create community events.
  • Travel & Immersion: Occasionally join arenaflex chapters worldwide to experience the community first‑hand, deepen relationships, and bring authentic stories back to the support desk.

Essential Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer success, client services, or member support role, preferably within a remote‑first or SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated sales experience with a track record of converting leads into paying customers.
  • Exceptional written English – flawless grammar, compelling storytelling, and the ability to adapt tone to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple tickets, projects, and stakeholder requests without dropping the ball.
  • Empathy and emotional intelligence – you can instantly put yourself in a member’s shoes and respond with genuine care.
  • Comfort with basic design tools (Canva, Figma, or similar) to create polished PDFs and visual communications.

  • Experience working in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
  • Background in community management or hospitality.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and ticketing systems (Zendesk, Freshdesk).
