Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Dispatcher & Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home office. You will be instrumental in managing and coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and communication between drivers, customers, and operational hubs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in logistics software. You will be responsible for scheduling deliveries, optimizing routes, tracking shipments, and resolving any logistical challenges that arise. This role requires self-discipline, excellent time management, and the ability to thrive in an independent work environment. Responsibilities include: Coordinating and scheduling daily transportation routes for a fleet of drivers. Monitoring the real-time location and status of all shipments and vehicles. Communicating effectively with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and support. Acting as a liaison between drivers, customers, and internal departments to resolve issues and ensure timely deliveries. Utilizing logistics software and technology to optimize routes and manage load assignments. Maintaining accurate dispatch records, delivery logs, and shipment documentation. Responding promptly to inquiries and requests from drivers and stakeholders. Identifying and addressing potential delays or disruptions in the transportation schedule. Ensuring compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies. Providing excellent customer service through clear and professional communication. Generating reports on dispatch activity, delivery performance, and operational efficiency. Qualifications: Proven experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a similar transportation role. Strong understanding of transportation logistics, route planning, and fleet operations. Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and other logistics technology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and demonstrate a high level of self-discipline. High-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace at home. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). A proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and operational demands. Previous experience in a remote work setting is a plus.
