Position Overview As a Remote Pharmacy Data Entry & Patient Care Specialist at careerzynith, you will serve as the digital front line of our pharmacy operations. You will engage directly with patients and customers, support pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, manage critical prescription data, and ensure every interaction reflects the warmth and professionalism that defines the careerzynith experience. In this dynamic role, your day-to-day contributions will include a blend of technical accuracy, customer engagement, and collaborative support. If you hold PTCB certification, you will also coach and support fellow technicians in system operations. Pharmacy Operations Support: Assist the pharmacist in scheduling, maintaining workflow, and performing duties in compliance with state, federal, and company policies. This includes filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical products, verifying medication accuracy, and screening for potential drug interactions. Error Reporting and Quality Assurance: Promptly report any prescription errors to the supervising pharmacist and strictly adhere to careerzynith policies regarding good faith dispensing and quality improvement protocols. Cash Register and Sales Operations: Accurately register all related sales, handle cash transactions as required, and guide customers to over-the-counter product aisles when appropriate to assist with their needs.
