Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking motivated, detail‑oriented individuals to join our Remote Data Entry team. In this full‑time, work‑from‑home role, you will be responsible for accurately entering patient and prescription information, handling high‑volume inquiries, and supporting pharmacy specialists in a fast‑paced, compliance‑driven environment. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $27 to $35, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to work from anywhere within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Verification: Utilize arenaflex’s proprietary data‑entry platform to input new patient enrollments, prescription refills, and medication histories while adhering to HIPAA and internal security standards.
  • Prescription Processing: Review and enter “top‑off” orders, resolve missing medication data, and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes) to ensure accurate fulfillment.
  • Outbound & Inbound Communications: Respond to patient calls, chats, and messages; initiate outbound calls to prescribers, guarantors, and patients to obtain necessary authorizations or clarify order details.
  • Exception Management: Identify, investigate, and correct “exception” cases by gathering missing information, making edits, and resubmitting records in accordance with workflow requirements.
  • Collaboration & Escalation: Provide timely assistance to pharmacy technicians both on‑site and remotely; recognize complex issues and promptly escalate to senior staff.
  • Compliance & Certification: Obtain a valid professional certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain an active license or certification throughout tenure.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all interactions, maintain audit‑ready logs, and generate routine reports for quality assurance and performance monitoring.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic computer proficiency: ability to start/shut down a PC, navigate using a mouse, open/close applications, save and print documents, and browse the internet.
  • Fundamental web navigation skills, including entering URLs, using bookmarks, and operating back/forward/stop functions.
  • Keyboarding speed of at least 25 words per minute (WPM) with a focus on accuracy and the ability to type from memory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of experience in a pharmacy or retail environment, preferably with a focus on call‑center operations.
  • 1.5 years of pharmacy‑related experience, including state‑mandated registration or certification recognized by a national pharmacy organization.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering customer service to both internal and external stakeholders while meeting quality standards.
  • Intermediate to advanced typing speed of 35 WPM or higher, with the ability to type accurately from memory.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
