As a Walgreens Remote Call Center Specialist $25/Hour, you will perform a variety of tasks, including:
- Answering high-volume customer calls and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Processing new patient enrollments by entering information into our system
- Handling patient medication requests and entering refill orders for processing
- Investigating missing medication data and deciphering clinical truncations (SIG codes)
- Resolving information passage-related exceptions
- Providing support to pharmacists, both in-store and remotely
- Identifying and escalating issues to senior-level staff as needed
- *Key Responsibilities**
• Utilize Walgreens remedy information section techniques and rules to process new patient enrollments
- Handle patient medication requests and enter refill orders for processing
- Investigate missing medication data and decipher clinical truncations (SIG codes)
- Resolve information passage-related exceptions
- Provide support to pharmacists, both in-store and remotely
- Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as needed
- *Essential Qualifications**
• 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills, including:
+ Starting and closing a computer + Using a mouse to point and click + Starting and closing programs + Switching between programs + Saving files + Printing documents + Accessing data online
- Basic web search skills, including:
+ Opening a web browser + Writing in URLs in the correct location + Using a search engine + Bookmarking a website + Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons + Completing forms online
- Moderate-level keyboarding skills, including:
+ Typing at least 25 words per minute + Typing by memory + Organizing records
- *Preferred Qualifications**
• At least 1 year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment
- At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with an endorsement/enrollment by state as granted by the State board for Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction
- Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills, including:
+ Typing at least 35 words per minute + Typing by memory + Organizing records
- Familiarity with Spanish and English
