Responsibilities

• Evaluate the relevance and quality of search engine results for given queries
• Assess whether search results, ads, or AI responses accurately and helpfully address user intent
• Rate and annotate results using detailed evaluation guidelines and scoring rubrics
• Provide written justification for your ratings — not just a score, but a reason
• Evaluate content across multiple categories including news, local search, e-commerce, and informational queries
• Complete a required number of tasks per week to maintain active evaluator status
• Stay current with updated evaluation guidelines as they are issued

Requirements

• No degree required — though strong general knowledge across topics is essential
• Must pass the qualification exam for the specific evaluation program
• Analytical thinker who can assess intent, relevance, and quality objectively
• Fluent English reader — you'll be evaluating English-language content
• Comfortable independently navigating websites, apps, and online tools
• Self-directed and consistent — you manage your own hours and task queue
• Reliable internet and a computer (tablet or phone work for some tasks)
