Healthcare Specialist (Evening Shift) - Remote Opportunity
Job Summary: As a Healthcare Specialist, you will be responsible for providing mental health assessments and short-term therapeutic counseling to patients, families, and staff. You will work closely with the healthcare team to facilitate complex discharge planning and provide crisis intervention services as needed. *Key Responsibilities:** Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments of patients referred by physicians. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions to address emotional, social, and financial consequences of illness or disability. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement discharge plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Serve as a liaison between Indiana University Health and state and county child and adult protective teams. *Requirements:** Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required. Current licensure or license eligibility in the state of Indiana as an HSPP, LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC is required. CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification may be required. Knowledge of state and county adult and child protective legal mandates, as well as principles of growth and development over the life span, is necessary. Apply Job!
