Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, personable, and resilient Customer Service Agent to join our vibrant airport operations team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for travelers, guiding them through check‑in, boarding, and post‑flight processes while delivering the high‑quality service that defines arenaflex. Key Responsibilities

Passenger Interaction & Support

  • Greet passengers with a friendly smile, offering assistance with check‑in, boarding, and any travel‑related inquiries.
  • Provide clear, concise information about flight schedules, gate changes, and airport amenities.
  • Assist passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors, elderly travelers, and those requiring mobility assistance.

Ticketing, Reservations & Sales

  • Utilize arenaflex’s advanced reservation system to process ticket purchases, modifications, and cancellations efficiently.
  • Explain fare options, upgrade opportunities, and ancillary services such as extra baggage, seat selection, and in‑flight meals.
  • Promote arenaflex’s loyalty program, encouraging enrollment and helping members maximize their benefits.

Problem Resolution & Conflict Management

  • Listen actively to passenger concerns, empathize with their situation, and resolve issues promptly while adhering to company policies.
  • Escalate complex or high‑impact incidents to supervisors or the appropriate department with thorough documentation.
  • Maintain composure during peak travel periods, ensuring that each interaction remains courteous and solution‑focused.

Baggage Handling & Coordination

  • Assist travelers with check‑in of luggage, ensuring compliance with weight and size restrictions.
  • Track and locate delayed or misplaced baggage, coordinating with the baggage operations team to expedite delivery.
  • Educate passengers on prohibited items and safety regulations to prevent security delays.

Safety, Security & Compliance

  • Adhere strictly to all aviation safety and security protocols, including TSA regulations and arenaflex’s internal standards.
  • Participate in regular safety drills and training sessions to stay current on emergency procedures.
  • Report any suspicious activity or safety hazards immediately to the appropriate authorities.

Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with ground crew, flight attendants, and airport partners to ensure seamless operations.
  • Contribute ideas during team meetings to enhance service delivery, reduce wait times, and improve overall passenger experience.
  • Mentor new hires, sharing best practices and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1‑2 years in a customer‑facing role, ideally within the airline, hospitality, or travel sectors.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a clear, articulate speaking style.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computers, reservation software, and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM tools).
