Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction & Service: Greet drivers and fleet operators with a friendly, professional demeanor; answer questions about fueling procedures, vehicle wash options, and site amenities.
  • Fuel Dispensing & Management: Safely operate fuel pumps, monitor fuel levels, and ensure accurate transaction recording; adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Vehicle Washing & Detailing: Perform thorough exterior washes and interior clean‑ups on a minimum of 15 units per week; maintain high standards of cleanliness, shine, and presentation.
  • Vehicle Inspection & Minor Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of tires, fluid levels, lights, and other critical components; report any deficiencies and perform minor repairs such as tire pressure adjustments, fluid top‑offs, and basic part replacements.
  • Trailer Operations: Efficiently couple and uncouple heavy‑duty tractors and trailers; manage the flow of empty and loaded trailers between loading docks, staging areas, and parking zones.
  • Safety & Cleanliness Stewardship: Keep the fueling and wash area tidy, free of hazards, and compliant with OSHA and local fire codes; proactively identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Environmental Responsibility: Follow best practices to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions; participate in recycling programs for water, oil, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Team Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate with supervisors, dispatch teams, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations; provide clear updates on equipment status and workload.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications (e.g., ASE, OSHA) are a strong advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles safely.
