Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage the scheduling of product and import shipments for completed vehicles, ensuring alignment with production timelines.
  • Identify, negotiate, and coordinate the most cost‑effective and reliable transportation methods (sea, air, and land) to meet delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to develop detailed shipping plans that adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with arenaflex’s internal quality standards (CI, Standards, etc.) and industry regulations throughout the logistics lifecycle.
  • Prepare and validate essential shipping documentation, including Bill of Lading, Delivery Instructions, IMO certifications, and other import/export paperwork.
  • Provide proactive, high‑touch support to internal stakeholders and external partners, responding swiftly to inquiries and resolving issues that arise during transit.
  • Support logistics leadership by generating and updating logistics dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and analytical reports.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives, recommending process enhancements that drive cost savings and operational excellence.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time to distribution centers, carrier facilities, or partner sites as needed to oversee critical shipments.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on logistics experience, preferably within automotive or high‑value product environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with sea‑ and air‑freight operations, including knowledge of Incoterms, customs clearance, and carrier management.
  • Proficiency in logistics software platforms such as arenaflex, SQL, and other data‑analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of freight terminology, shipping documentation, and basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across cross‑functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a proven ability to interpret data, identify trends, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when shipment schedules demand extra coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCMP SCPro).
