Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, empathetic, and witty individuals to fill the role of Part‑Time Remote Customer Service Phone Representative. This position is perfect for candidates who love engaging conversations, enjoy helping people navigate fitness memberships, and thrive in a flexible, home‑based environment. You will be the first point of contact for our members, handling inbound calls, outbound appointment setting, and SMS communications—all while representing the arenaflex brand with professionalism and a dash of humor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary voice of arenaflex, delivering friendly, knowledgeable, and solution‑focused service to every caller.
  • Answer inbound phone calls, accurately identify member needs, and resolve inquiries related to memberships, appointments, and account details.
  • Make outbound calls to schedule appointments, follow up on leads, and confirm membership renewals generated from existing inquiries.
  • Manage inbound and outbound SMS (text) interactions, ensuring the same high level of service as phone conversations.
  • Maintain precise, up‑to‑date records in the customer relationship management (CRM) system, documenting each interaction for future reference.
  • Adhere to Quality Assurance standards, meeting or exceeding key performance metrics such as average handle time, first‑call resolution, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Collaborate with the regional manager based in Midland and participate in occasional virtual or in‑person training sessions, equipment pickups, and team meetings.
  • Uphold a professional, upbeat, and solution‑oriented attitude, using wit and banter where appropriate to create a memorable experience.

Essential Duties & Requirements

  • Maintain a designated, approved home workspace that meets arenaflex technical specifications (wired internet, minimum speed, no satellite connections).
  • Have a backup workspace ready in case of technical disruptions.
  • Possess reliable high‑speed internet (tested prior to hiring) and a functional headset with a noise‑cancelling microphone.
  • Demonstrate the ability to type at least 40 words per minute and navigate multiple software platforms simultaneously.
  • Commit to a flexible schedule: Monday‑Friday between 9 am‑10 pm EST and Saturday‑Sunday between 11 am‑8 pm EST, totaling 25‑30 hours per week.
  • Show accountability for shift coverage, team collaboration, and overall business performance.
