[Remote] Software Engineering Technical Specialist - Workday Integrations

They are seeking a Software Engineering Technical Specialist - Workday Integrations to design, deliver, and support integrations within their enterprise HR ecosystem, focusing on Workday as the system of record.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support integration solutions within enterprise HR domains such as Workday HCM, payroll, benefits, identity and access management, and third‑party HR platforms
- Drive the design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support of Workday integrations, leveraging platform‑native frameworks and enterprise integration patterns
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Security, and external vendors to translate business and regulatory requirements into secure, reliable Workday integration solutions
- Contribute deep domain expertise, guidance, and technical ownership across the integration lifecycle
- Mentor engineers, help establish integration standards and best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of the Workday integration landscape
Skills
- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise integrations, preferably with Workday as a system of record
- Hands‑on experience with Workday integration technologies (e.g., Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, APIs)
- Strong understanding of Hire‑to‑Retire business processes, including worker lifecycle events, payroll, benefits, and compensation data flows
- Experience integrating SaaS HR platforms with downstream systems such as payroll providers, benefits vendors, or identity/access management tools
- Ability to support production operations, including incident resolution and critical business cycles where data accuracy and timeliness are essential
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills in an enterprise, cross‑functional environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience supporting global or multi‑country Workday integrations
- Familiarity with HR data privacy, security, and audit considerations (e.g., sensitive employee data, regulatory requirements)
- Prior experience acting as a technical lead or integration owner for enterprise platforms
- And/or Master Certified Technical Specialist
