[Remote] Vice President Enterprise Sales
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Deep Market Making Inc. is an early-stage company building AI-native systems for institutional credit markets. They are seeking a VP, Enterprise Sales to drive outbound sales and business development efforts with banks, asset managers, and other financial institutions to expand their pipeline and commercial opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Build targeted prospect lists across institutional finance
- Conduct high-volume, high-quality outbound outreach to decision-makers and practitioners
- Secure introductory calls, discovery meetings, demos, pilots, and partnership conversations
- Research target accounts and identify relevant stakeholders across trading, technology, data, quant, and business teams
- Write clear, professional, personalized outreach emails and LinkedIn messages
- Track prospects, conversations, next steps, and pipeline progress
- Help refine messaging, qualification criteria, and sales collateral based on market feedback
- Join calls with prospects and help manage follow-up
- Develop a strong understanding of DeepMM’s product, market, and customer pain points
- Support the founding team in moving opportunities from first conversation to commercial engagement
Skills
- 2–6 years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, financial services, fintech, capital markets, consulting, or a related client-facing role
- Strong interest in institutional finance, AI, trading technology, market data, or fintech
- Excellent written communication skills, especially for cold outbound and executive-facing emails
- Comfortable doing direct outreach and following up persistently but professionally
- Highly organized and able to manage many prospects and conversations at once
- Able to quickly understand complex products and explain them clearly
- Polished enough to communicate credibly with senior professionals at banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and trading firms
- Self-directed, competitive, and comfortable in an early-stage startup environment
- Excited by performance-based compensation and meaningful upside
- Prior experience in financial services, fintech sales, institutional sales, investment banking, markets, or capital markets is strongly preferred
- Experience prospecting into banks, asset managers, hedge funds, trading firms, fintechs, data vendors, or other financial institutions
- Familiarity with fixed income, corporate bonds, electronic trading, market data, institutional execution, or trading workflows
- Prior exposure to enterprise sales, sales development, business development, investor relations, banking, consulting, or financial technology
- Strong academic, alumni, or university-affiliated networks
- Access to an active .edu-affiliated email address or academic/alumni communication channel that the candidate is authorized to use for professional outreach, where appropriate and compliant with applicable rules
- Ability to write thoughtful, personalized outreach that gets responses from sophisticated professionals
- Existing relationships with people in finance, technology, trading, investing, or startups
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to do unglamorous but high-value outbound work
