[Remote] Healthcare IT Program Manager

They are seeking a Senior Healthcare IT Program Manager to drive the successful delivery of large-scale initiatives across EHR implementations and system modernization. This role involves overseeing multiple workstreams, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead program strategy, governance, budgeting, and execution across projects
- Manage teams (PMs, leads) and coordinate across vendors and stakeholders
- Oversee risks, timelines, dependencies, and major milestones (e.g., go-live)
- Ensure compliance, reporting, contract delivery, and continuous improvement
Skills
- 10–15+ years in healthcare IT, program management, consulting, or government
- Experience with large-scale, multi-workstream programs and team leadership
- Background with EHR systems (Cerner/Oracle Health, Epic, etc.)
- Federal/state healthcare experience (VA, DoD, CMS, Medicaid, Public Health)
- PMP required/strongly preferred; PgMP a plus
- Experience leading Cerner/Oracle Health EHR programs
- Familiarity with federal contracting and multi-vendor environments
- Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and healthcare systems
