[Remote] Marketing Specialist

They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support event coordination and logistics for various internal and external events, while also contributing to broader marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute logistics for events, including venue sourcing and booking, vendor coordination, registration management, materials preparation and shipping
- Support the execution of conferences, webinars, and prospect/client events and meetings
- Manage backend reporting and event-based tasks such as attendee tracking, event reporting, supply coordination, and assist with post-event follow-up
- Source, order, and manage inventory and distribution of branded materials, promotional items, and event swag
- Create event communications, including invitations, reminders, and attendee correspondence
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to ensure events are executed smoothly and aligned with company standards and branding
- Participates in the creation, formatting, and updating of event materials and supporting marketing documents
- Maintain organized records of event materials, vendor information, contracts, and marketing assets
- Contributes to the broader marketing initiatives to support marketing teammates for additional projects and initiatives as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a marketing role, with demonstrated success in execution
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, including managing logistics and sourcing event materials. Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously while meeting deadlines and standards
- Strong project management and organizational skills and excellent attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely execution of tasks. Ability to review/proofread own work consistently with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to produce clear, professional written and verbal communications for invitations, attendee correspondence and internal coordination
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed
- Willingness to travel 1-4 times year, as needed for events
