[Remote] Electrical Engineer

They are hiring an Electrical Engineer to provide technical oversight across large-scale data center projects, ensuring design quality and compliance while contributing to internal standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight of end-to-end electrical designs across large-scale hyperscale data centers covering the full power distribution chain from MV distribution through LV topologies to rack level
- Ensure design quality, code compliance, and alignment with internal electrical standards across all projects
- Contribute to the development of internal design standards, specifications, and best practices
- Review and challenge electrical design decisions made by external consultants
- Apply working knowledge of major data center electrical topologies including 2N, N+1, catcher bus, and distributed-redundant configurations
- Drive consistency across a rapidly growing multi-site portfolio
Skills
- 8 or more years of electrical engineering experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities with exposure to the full power delivery chain
- Prior experience at a hyperscale operator or a major mission-critical design firm working on hyperscale projects
- Solid understanding of data center electrical topologies and the trade-offs between them
- Familiarity with NEC (NFPA 70), TIA-942, NFPA 110, IEEE 446, NFPA 70E, and IEEE 1584
- Experience with high-density AI and HPC environments and the electrical demands of GPU-heavy workloads
- EPMS/BMS integration and liquid cooling electrical distribution experience
- PE license preferred, or ability to obtain within 18 months
- Revit MEP, AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, Bluebeam
